Brand New Kitchen for next to nothing with Chalk Style Paint !!!

Do you love your kitchen but the colour is throwing you off?

Do you feel you want it a bit more modern with a twist of vintage?

Then this is what you need to read!

Tanya started using Bluestone House™ when she updated her coffee table. She then went on to do her kitchen. That turned out AMAZING !!!

oh ya, BTW she had not done this before !!!
Her friends, Laura & Ivano, came over...
and well, you guessed it !,
They could not wait to do it to their kitchen !!!
I know you all want to see Tanya's kitchen,
I promise, it's coming soon !

Below is Ivano & Laura Kitchen !
They loved their kitchen layout and the granite counter top but needed an update.
Yes, Tanya to the rescue !
She has become a painting machine ! lol !

This is the before colour of the cabinets. They are in great shape, so not much prep in the way of repairs. Ivano wanted the island is painted in Bluestone House™ Chalky Patina in colour "Driftwood".

Salty ocean and bleaching sun create the whitened grey that is Driftwood.

It's that colour you have been looking for.
The one that takes you to the place in the back of your mind where
your Dream Kitchen is !!!

Once they pulled out the drawers and removed the knobs,
they were ready to paint !
These cabinets have a lot of detail, perfect for distressing !
This piece required no pre-sanding or even any cleaning! Bonus!
Two coats of paint. The second as soon as the first is dry !
Here's a picture of the drying process!
And a few pictures to show just how
STUNNING !
the "Driftwood" is against the granite !!!
And one more....
Do you want to see how the rest turned out???

It will be distressed, waxed with beeswax and applied a carbon antique wax!

Stay tuned for an upcoming blog!
