Bluestone House™ Antiquing Glaze is a medium that will add a protective top coat as well as a old world charm to your project. For indoor use only, Antiquing Glaze is an easy way to achieve a weathered or aged look on furniture, picture frames, signs, etc.
Directions
Pick the glaze colour of your choice from the Bluestone House™ Collection.
Mix 1 part paint to 4 parts glaze ! That's it !
Mix well and you are ready to use !
Application
Bluestone House™ Glaze can be used with Bluestone House™ Chalky, Silky or Milk Patina Paint. Once you have finished painting & distressing your piece your ready to use your glaze. It is applied, with a brush, over a dried surface and can be left as the final topcoat or waxed, with Bluestone House™ Natural Beeswax, for added protection.
Apply Bluestone House™ Antique Glaze with a brush in small sections, getting into all the nook & crannies. While it's still wet, remove it with a clean rag. Remove as much or as little as you like to achieve your desired outcome. I usually rub in small circles to make sure its all covered. Then continue onto the next section. If you find an area that is not to your liking you can add more glaze and re-wipe, but only while you are working with it, as it will not have cured yet. To protect you masterpiece, finish it with Bluestone House™ Beeswax.

the final coat or waxed, with Bluestone House™ Beeswax Furniture

Once you are happy with the effect, continue onto the next section. Glam Glaze can also be dry brushed on for an interesting effect !
You can also apply the glaze as a topcoat, with as a subtle sparkle sheer finish.
Glam glaze sets quickly, so work on one surface at a time.
